So I discovered Camella's Kitchen last summer online. I ordered a couple things and I recently placed another order with them. The island herb blend is a true staple in Trinidadian cooking. When I opened the jar it took me back to a child cooking with my family. While I can make this on my own it's just pure convenience to place an order and have it delivered. Their customer service goes above and beyond too. They sent a personalize note with my last order and they even sent a Christmas card for Christmas. This company makes me feel like I'm part of the family. Even though they are based in Maryland I'm grateful they [ship] their products! Support Black Owned Business and Support Small Businesses!

I ordered a gift set from Camella’s and a few things blew me away about the experience. 1. It arrived SO QUICKLY! 2. The packaging was really nice (I bought this for myself and my boyfriend to try out a bunch of the sauces before buying full size, but it would be the perfect gift too). 3. There was a hand-written note to accompany it! Lovely touch. And last, but definitely not least, the two sauces we have tried so far are delicious! I’m afraid of the Trini Hot lol but my boyfriend (the spicy hound of the family) eagerly awaits that one. I would highly recommend Camella’s Kitchen to anyone who wants to try out something yummy from a local women-owned business!

The spiced chickpeas make a terrific, healthy, flavorful snack and the apple chutney adds a fabulous zing to chicken as well as French toast. Delicious sauces from two amazing women! I’ve enjoyed the sauces so much I had a selection sent to my sister’s family. I’m about to order some for my neighbor as a birthday present. The Island Herb Blend adds great flavor to everything. The pepper sauces are yummy but really hot, so I’m careful not to pour too much on my plate!

This was a fantastic find through the Nile List. I love spicy sauces and seasonings, and I'm always on the hunt for new ones to try out. I ordered three different bottles, and Camella's did not disappoint! The best thing about these sauces is that they bring the heat without sacrificing the flavor. I mostly use these over chicken dishes, but am anxious to try them in some Mexican dishes as well. Very satisfied with my purchase, and so happy to support such an amazing business!

I am a huge fan of Camella's Kitchen. We initially worked together for a retail collaboration at the restaurant that I work at, and I'm glad for the introduction. Nyana is very responsive and helpful, and the flavors of their hot sauces are addicting! The heat is there and beautifully complements the powerful flavors. The [pepper sauces] are my favorites - just a bit of sauce added to any meal instantly makes the flavors stronger and gives a great kick. My experience has been extremely pleasant. I was able to get a taste of the Trini ‘hot’ pepper sauce prior to buying to see if it was too hot for me. It was indeed too hot for me, but I decided to give it a try and now I keep finding myself using it with a lot of my meals!
