Join Us for The Drive-Thru: A Lift Every Fork and Camella's Kitchen Collaboration

Join us on Thursday, September 24th at 9 PM ET (6 PM PT) for a tiny chat on food justice through the lens of social entrepreneurship.

Through this conversation, we'll discuss how the three Ps of the triple bottom line (people, profit, planet) are essential to how we operate. We’ll be speaking with Michelle, the host of Lift Every Fork. This chat is part of Lift Every Fork’s Drive-Thru series on Instagram. It serves as a way for allies, supporters, and activists to discuss a variety of topics that touch communities of color.

This chat will feature us (Karen and Nyana), the ladies behind Camella's Kitchen. We are makers of bold Caribbean flavors. In the chat, we'll speak about why we are not just about making sauce, but are all about #BeCamellaSaucy. By embracing the concept of saucy, we are pursuing our dreams and helping our community in the Washington, DC metro area (DMV) in the process. By partnering with local farms (many of whom are Black-owned), we are putting sustainability first and helping to further the green economy in the DMV.

The chat will be hosted on Instagram. Joining in is easy. Just log-in to Instagram at 9 PM ET (6 PM PT) on Thursday, September 24th and join through Lift Every Fork's page. During this time, we'll also discuss the sauce raffle that we're doing with Lift Every Fork through the end of the month. To get a calendar reminder about the chat, RSVP on Eventbrite.

Camella’s Kitchen is run by two ladies from Trinidad and Tobago. Based out of Prince George’s County, Maryland, we’re living our sauciest lives by bringing our bold Caribbean flavors to you! How will you #BeCamellaSaucy? Tell us on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube!
