It’s so moist, dense, and delicious, you’ll want to eat it in one go. Just a small slice of this decadent cake will transport you to the islands! A time-honored tradition in our family, we have been making black cake for decades. Available in three sizes to satiate your appetite.

Flour, fruit, butter, sugar, eggs, rum, baking powder, spices
Flavors inspired by our West Indian heritage. Black cake is a regional specialty found throughout the Caribbean. Handcrafted in small batches by us. Get an authentic bite of the islands in one slice!
The following sizes come in beautiful decorative tins or boxes: 4” Round and 9” Round.
4” Round (12 oz): Serves 1 - 3 people [$25 - $26]
9” x 4” Loaf (3 lbs): Serves: 8 - 10 people [$55]
9” Round (4.25 lbs): Serves: 16 - 20 people [$80 - $85]

Storage
Store in a dry environment like a closed tight container and keep it wrapped - it can last for a few months.
Shipping
You can order this cake year-round. We ship these out within a week of ordering. If this is a gift order, you have the option of leaving a handwritten note during checkout. If you prefer a later shipping date, please let us know - you can leave a note when placing the order. We also have curbside pickup. We are located in Prince George’s County, MD (Largo/Upper Marlboro (zip code 20774) - just 30 minutes away from Washington, DC and Northern Virginia).
