Who doesn’t love a good guacamole? It’s the perfect addition to parties and get-togethers. And when you’re stuck at home, it’s a great comfort food that satisfies your need for salty and spicy at the same time. We did a Trinidadian take on guacamole, and made a zaboca choka. In case you’re wondering, zaboca is Trini speak for avocado. Our choka is a quick and easy recipe. You’ll be astounded by the taste - it’s better than what you’ll get at any grocery store!

Recipe (Serves 3 people )
Ingredients
1 bunch of Italian parsley, chopped
1 small lime, squeezed
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons mango pepper sauce
2 avocados, peeled and chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
Place chopped avocados in a bowl, and mash with a fork for a few seconds in order to soften them.
To the bowl, add in garlic, parsley and salt and pepper.
Add lime juice to the mixture.
Follow with mango pepper sauce. We recommend 2 tablespoons, but add in more or less depending on your spice tolerance.
Mix the ingredients together until you get a smooth and creamy consistency.
Marvel at your creation and enjoy!

Serve as a side dish
